R.I.P. Bernie Mac (by H2O)

I know this is short, but I felt like I had to do it. If you haven’t heard by now, Bernie Mac died on Saturday morning, August 9th from complications of pneumonia at only 50 years of age. His death comes as a shock to me and I’m sure anyone else who has seen him on stage, in comedic acts, or in movies. Many people, myself included, have enjoyed his works in the past years, and he will be missed around the world. Rest in Peace Bernie from the nappyafro family: We will miss you.
RIP Bernie Mac! You were one of the funniest comedians of all time. Never heard recycled jokes from him. Always was coming with some original material. He will most definitely be missed. *sheds a tear for the big homie*

Thank you for remembering Bernie McCullough with respect. He was a gifted entertainer who added an entirely different dimension to “black comedy” than the comics that had come before him.
It is very sad that he HID his serious medical problems from his fans but everyone has a RIGHT to privacy and secrecy anout personal issues. I only hope that black people will begin to educate themselves about the medical reasons why this remarkable man’s life was cut so short.
He will be truly missed by millions.

RIP to Bernie Mac. That guy will always be remembered forever along with Robert Harris, and the rest of the other comedians that died too soon. Bernie had that rare touch, and like King Jerm said “He never came with recycled jokes”. It was a big shock to me to hear about Mac, well damn RIP Bernie, and hold it down up in the sky.

We lost another icon…ISSAC HAYES passed away at 65! Damn, Chef is gone!
RIP Bernic Mac! His death was a shock to me and of course others. He was truly a great comedian, a natural you would say. I can’t believe at age 50, he’s gone. I guess it was his time but man, we’re just losing people from left to right. Issac Hayes, too. (RIP) My prayers are with both families. Thanks H2O for doing this post. nappyafro, keep up the great work!
