It's not that the 2nd half is terrible or even average, but the tempo really slows down and just about every song on the first half is a standout imo. If the album had about 13 tracks, it would be no doubt the best album of the year. An album can be great/really good, but that doesn't mean it's classic or lacks flaws. 4 and 4.5 stars are saying that the album is really good, but it has some flaws that stop it from being a classic. 5 stars are really for classic status/level albums like ‘Illmatic’, ‘Reasonable Doubt’, ‘Ready To Die’, etc. and there haven’t been any classic albums like that in a while. 5 star reviewed albums are perfect and really don’t have any flaws to them.
