Songs of the Week: E. Ness – “Hellraiser” & 9th Wonder feat. E. Ness & Skyzoo – “Let It Bang”

I fell head first into Making the Band with the dysfunctional family featuring Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, and Dylan. I watched every minute of that craziness wanting to see how these different styles would work. Sadly, the revelation was that it wouldn’t. Chopper (p-e-arrah) ended up back in underground obscurity. Babs made more noise in the on the gossip blog circuit than on wax. Stokes never fit anyway and is now a solo artist. The aforementioned Dylan was dropped and made a dis record that no one even cared to hear. Freddy P essentially quit because he decided it wasn’t his thing. Ness…vanished…or so it seems. He has managed to stay busy poppin’ up on mixtapes and remixes everywhere. One of the songs he did was on the Round Da Clock Hustlers 10 album released last year with the song “Hellraiser”. My second offering is one that was featured on the 9th Wonder Dream Merchant Vol. 2. The song is “Let it Bang” featuring Skyzoo. Ness offers some of the verbal dexterity that garnered him the lionshare of the Hip-Hop crowd from the show as well as being one of the crew kept by Diddy to this day.
