The Strip Club Phenomenon
It has come to my attention that strippers (strip clubs) are becoming a staple of modern rap videos and subject matter. Don’t get me wrong; being a typical male I am stimulated by a little T & A. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite videos/ songs is “Pussy Poppin’” by Ludacris.
Why is this ad so nasty?
“Thought you might appreciate the subtlety of this ad, done by a Brazilian ad agency, for a lubricating gel (K-Y equivalent) targeting the French market. They were trying to come up with an ad that is not offensive or tasteless.
“Kobe Bryant…still the best in the league!”
The new Nike ad features all of the stars of the NBA, but I was wondering, if Kobe never would have done what he had done, how much larger would he be? I mean he is by far the best player in the league right now. I know what you’re thinking, what about LeBron?
ego trip’s The (White) Rapper Show Wrap Up
When I first heard that VH1 had a show called The (White) Rapper Show coming out, I couldn’t believe it. I thought it was gonna be some bullshit! But after watching, it’s probably one of my current favorite shows.
Attention all tax payers: U.S. Government has lost $12 billion dollars!
Attention all tax payers: the U.S. government sent 12 billion dollars (that’s right, Billion!) to Iraq. Now I understand that isn’t new news considering our President is always asking for more money for the “War on Terror.”

“Spud Webb was the man!”
This past weekend I witnessed yet another lame NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Okay, it wasn’t all that bad. But I think it’s unanimous that this contest is getting weak. After watching, I needed a reminder of why the Slam Dunk Contest was exciting to me as a kid. One thing/man comes to mind: Anthony Jerome [...]
Had A Spark When You Started, Now You Just Garbage: LL Cool J
The first member of the HASWYSNYJG Club is a personal favorite of mine. It actually pains me to write this column. LL COOL J. Dog, have you listened to your lyrics lately? I guess not, because you would have been stopped rapping.
Little Brother|….And Justus For All [Mixtape]
Poor Little Brother, will you ever get to shine. Well, it isn’t that bad for the North Carolina trio…uh duo. Let’s do a brief history: Little Brother started out with two rappers (Big Pooh and Phonte) and a producer (9th Wonder). Little Brother’s first album The Listening came out in 2003
“When Will We Let Bow Wow Grow Up?”
I was watching Access Granted on BET the other night and I noticed Bow Wow’s new video with T-Pain, and I noticed that Bow Wow is now 19! In the video he has a love scene and stripper scene where his boys are making it rain!
